Software solution and support for digital farming

Agriculture is one of the few industries that offer significant digitalisation potential. Our client BASF, which counts farmers from all over Europe among its customers, has been relying on our technical know-how in software development for many years. But like all software products, they only develop the full power of their possibilities with reliable, customised support.

Shortly before our software solutions were ready for the market, it became clear that more was needed than just a technical support line. Our client's requirement was to support the farmers in their respective national language on the one hand, and on the other hand to provide them with an expert who could meet them on an equal footing with a university degree in agricultural sciences. In addition, the team was to be based in Cologne in order to be even more closely linked to the technical development of the applications.

It was immediately clear that this challenge could not be met through traditional recruitment methods. Through the activation of our network, Europe-wide active sourcing, university marketing and relocation programme, we were able to implement the successful start in January 2019 only a few weeks after concluding the contract for the management service. With 11 colleagues, we now support our client in 10 European languages.
